America's 250th Birthday Events:
Local events commemorating and celebrating America's 250th can be found at www.HistoryMadeHere.org. Please continue to check the site as additional details are provided. Below are highlights of events planned on July 4th.
July 4th Independence Day Celebrations at the York Expo Center, York Fairgrounds:
Cultural Festival July 4, 9 am – 12 pm
Bell Ringing across York County July 4, Noon
Grandstand Ceremony and Program July 4, 12:15 pm
Municipal Parade July 4, 2 pm – 4 pm. The Spring Garden Band and the Spring Garden Summer Parks Program will both be participating. The parade will march from the Fairgrounds and travel East down Market Street to the County's Administrative Center Building at 28 East Market Street.
July 4th Independence Day Celebrations at WellSpan Park:
York Revolution vs. Lancaster Stormers: Pre-Game begins at 4 pm, Game time 5 pm
America 250 Celebration Post-Game: York Symphony Orchestra and chorus concert inside and outside the park, followed by fireworks
