Special Weather Statement issued May 24 at 2:00AM CDT by NWS San Angelo TX

At 159 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Throckmorton to near Hawley. Movement was
southeast at 45 mph. An outflow boundary ahead of the thunderstorms
has been resulting in wind gusts of 45 to 55 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include...
Abilene, Clyde, Haskell, Stamford, Anson, Hamlin, Albany, Baird,
Throckmorton, Hawley, Lueders, Moran, Woodson, Weinert, Irby, Noodle,
Paint Creek, Ibex, Elbert, and Avoca.

This includes Interstate 20 between Mile Markers 279 and 312.
