Waters from High Island to Freeport TX from 20 to 60 NM...
* Until 315 PM CDT.
* At 217 PM CDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Galveston
150. The strong thunderstorm was nearly stationary.
HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
suddenly higher waves.

East Galveston Bay, Galveston Ship Channel, West Bay, Tabs Buoy B,
Galveston Bay Entrance, Buoy 42035, Galveston 256, Offatts Bayou,
North Jetty, Galveston 221, Galveston Pier 21, High Island 157,
Galveston 150, San Luis Pass, Galveston Causeway, Rollover Pass,
High Island A179, High Island 63, Bastrop Bay, and Christmas Bay.
Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.
Frequent lightning is occurring with this storm. If caught on the
open water stay below deck if possible, keep away from ungrounded
metal objects.
