A message from The York Area Metropolitan Planning Organization:
The York Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (YAMPO) has created a series of videos highlighting upcoming projects across York County. One of the projects, the North York Widening of Interstate 83 takes place in or near your municipality and we kindly ask you to watch the video, linked below, and complete a short survey to share any comments or questions you may have about the project. York County’s 2027 Transportation Improvement Program which will be adopted on the June 25th YAMPO Coordinating Committee meeting.
The Transportation Improvement Program is a four-year document that lists all transportation related programs and projects that will occur in York County. York County receives roughly $230 million dollars over the next four federal fiscal years to improve our transportation network and YAMPO is the organization that administers the state and federal funds.
