Weโve heard your concerns about Main Street and share your frustration. The Township is advocating for repairs, but since this is a state-owned road, we need residentsโ help. A strong, collective voice from the community is key to getting attention from Harrisburg and moving this issue forward.
Main Street in Lawrence Park is ๐ผ๐๐ป๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐บ๐ฎ๐ถ๐ป๐๐ฎ๐ถ๐ป๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐ฏ๐ ๐ฃ๐ฒ๐ป๐ป๐๐ข๐ง, as it is a state road (State Route 4032). While the Township assists with snowplowing through an agreement, responsibility for repairs and long-term improvements lies with PennDOT.
We recognize that patchwork repairs are no longer a sustainable solution. The Township has been working with PennDOT to address these concerns, but we have not yet received a timeline or commitment that reflects the current condition of the road.
