Description
A suspect has been identified in the dumping incidents that took place in Plymouth and Sheffield Townships earlier this week.
Deputy John Helfer of the Ashtabula County Sheriffs Department confirmed that charges are pending, and will be filed within the next 30 days.
Further updates will be provided as they become available.
We want to thank Deputy Helfer and the ACSD, along with several residents who provided details of the incident, which helped lead to the identification of the suspect.
This kind collective effort keeps our community clean and safe and sends a clear message that vandalism, dumping, and other crime will not be tolerated.
As a reminder, the Plymouth Township Cleanup Day is scheduled for Saturday, May 16th from 8am to Noon at the Plymouth Fire Hall, 1001 Plymouth Road.
We look forward to seeing you there!
