Greenwood Township would like to inform residents that a sound study is currently being conducted within the township. This study is part of our ongoing efforts to better understand and mitigate the noise concerns associated with the Air Products facility located at Vitro.
As part of this study, you may notice temporary monitoring equipment placed at various locations throughout the township. These devices are used to measure sound levels and gather important data. Please do not touch, move, or tamper with this equipment, as doing so could interfere with the accuracy of the study.
Township officials are committed to addressing the concerns of our residents and are actively working toward identifying practical solutions to reduce noise impacts. The data collected during this study will help guide future actions and discussions with all involved parties.
