Description
A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for our region as a system moves through western Pennsylvania and northern West Virginia. Please plan ahead and use caution if you’ll be traveling.
❄️ Advisory Timing
🕔 5:00 PM today through 5:00 PM Tuesday
❄️ What to Expect
• Snowfall: 2–4 inches possible
• Changeover: Rain will transition to snow later this afternoon and evening
• Heaviest Snow: This evening, with snowfall rates up to 1.5 inches per hour at times
• Tuesday: Lake-enhanced snow showers may continue through the day
• Wind: Gusts up to 35 mph
🚗 Travel Impacts
Road conditions may become slippery and hazardous, especially during the Monday evening and Tuesday morning commutes. If you must travel:
• Drive slowly
• Allow extra stopping distance
• Give yourself extra time to reach your destination
