⚠️ Burning Alert for Greenwood Township Residents ⚠️
Due to the current high wind conditions, Greenwood Township officials strongly urge residents not to burn brush, leaves, or other materials at this time. Wind can quickly spread embers and cause fires to move out of control, creating dangerous conditions for nearby homes, property, and emergency responders.
For everyone’s safety, please delay any outdoor burning until the winds subside and conditions improve.
We appreciate your cooperation in helping keep our community safe. If you see an unattended or out-of-control fire, please contact 911 immediately.
