Description
Please be advised that the contractor will be closing 2 right lanes of I-45 NBML from SH 6/SH 146 to FM 519 and the I-45 northbound entrance ramp from SH6/SH146 at the Texas City Wye next Saturday March 14, 2026. This closure will begin at 7 AM and is expected to end at 7 PM. This closure is needed to allow the contractor to switch Northbound mainlane traffic onto the feeder road for the next phase. The full closure details are included on the Houston Transtar system with a pdf of the detour route map attached.
PLEASE NOTE: NORTHBOUND I45 and EASTBOUND HWY 6 TRAFFIC WILL HAVE TO HEAD SOUTH AND MAKE A U-TURN AT TIKI ISLAND
