Coastal waters from High Island to Freeport TX out 20 NM...
Galveston Bay...
* Until 845 AM CDT.
* At 708 AM CDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near The Texas
City Dike, moving east at 15 knots.
HAZARD...Wind gusts to 40 knots.
SOURCE...Radar.
IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
suddenly higher waves.
* Locations impacted include...
East Galveston Bay, Galveston Ship Channel, Galveston Bay Entrance,
Offatts Bayou, North Jetty, Galveston Pier 21, Galveston Causeway,
Rollover Pass, High Island 63, The Texas City Dike, Eagle Point,
Galveston Bay, and northeastern West Bay.
Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.
Move to safe harbor immediately as gusty winds and high waves are
expected.
