Special Weather Statement issued March 6 at 6:20PM EST by NWS Binghamton NY
Area observations and highway web cams via the PA 511 website are
showing locally dense fog across the area. Localized areas of
dense fog were noted along portions of interstate 80, 81, 380, 476
and 84 among other locations. The dense fog is mainly confined to
the higher elevations. Localized visibilities under 1/4 mile are
likely to occur.
If traveling tonight be prepared for rapid fluctuations in
visibility and plan some extra time to reach your destination
safely. Use low beam headlights and leave plenty of space between
vehicles.
