Cold Weather Advisory issued February 22 at 6:57PM EST until February 23 at 9:00AM EST by NWS Tallahassee FL
* WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 23 expected.
* WHERE...Coastal Bay, Coastal Dixie, Coastal Franklin, Coastal
Jefferson, Coastal Taylor, Coastal Wakulla, Inland Franklin,
Coastal Gulf, Inland Gulf, and South Walton Counties.
* WHEN...From 5 AM EST /4 AM CST/ to 9 AM EST /8 AM CST/ Monday.
* IMPACTS...Wind chill values can lead to hypothermia with prolonged
exposure.
Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a
hat, and gloves.
Make frequent checks on older family, friends, and neighbors. Ensure
portable heaters are used correctly. Do not use generators or grills
inside.
