* Until 415 PM EST/315 PM CST/.
* At 121 PM EST/1221 PM CST/, severe thunderstorms capable of
producing waterspouts were located along a line extending from 13
nm southeast of St. Marks to near V Tower to 38 nm south of Empire
Mica Wreck, moving east at 25 knots.
HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts 34 knots or greater.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Waterspouts can quickly form and capsize boats...damage
vessels...and create suddenly higher waves. Make sure all
on board are in a secure location and wearing life
jackets. Expect wind gusts in excess of 34
knots...suddenly higher waves...frequent lightning...and
heavy downpours. Make sure all on board are wearing life
jackets.
* Locations impacted include...
Buckeye Reef, O Tower, K Tower, S Tower, V Tower, Horseshoe Beach,
C Tower, and Marker 24 Barge.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 400 PM EST/300 PM CST/ for
Big Bend Florida...and the adjacent coastal waters.
Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.
Thunderstorms can produce sudden waterspouts. Waterspouts can easily
overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Seek safe harbor
immediately.
