Description
Due to the extreme weather, the Borough is providing a limited extension for free 2026 pet registration until the end of February. This is your final chance to register your pet before incurring the $25 registration fee.
You can register your dog or cat in person this month at the Borough office:
• Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 am to 5 pm
• Saturday, February 28 only, from 10 am to noon
Additionally, you can email the necessary information to the Borough Manager at boropv@comcast.net
The following is required for your pet to be registered:
• Your name, Address and Phone Number(s)
• Type of Pet
• Pet’s Breed and Color(s)
• Pet’s Name
• Current Veterinarian issued Rabies Certificate
Upon receipt of all required information, the Borough will issue a 2026 Pet Registration tag. Registration verification will be dropped off to those who email their information.
Remember – ALL cats and dogs are required to be registered annually with the Borough. Penalty for non-compliance includes a monetary fine of up to $500.
