Description
The National Weather Service is forecasting winter weather to move into our area beginning Friday and continuing through Saturday.

🌨️ Snowfall Forecast
• 1–3 inches possible in lower elevations
• 3–6 inches possible in the PA and WV ridges, where a Winter Storm Watch is in effect

🌬️ Strong, Gusty Winds
• 35–40 mph in the lowlands
• 45–55 mph in the ridges

🥶 Extreme Cold
An Extreme Cold Watch is in effect for portions of the region. Dangerous wind chills are expected late Friday night into Saturday.

⚠️ Safety Reminders
• Bring pets indoors and keep them warm
• Bundle up and limit time outdoors
• Use caution when traveling—roads may be snow-covered or icy
• Please use driveways and off-street parking whenever possible to allow crews to safely clear roadways
• Public Works crews will be out treating and monitoring roads
