Cold Weather Advisory issued February 1 at 6:34PM EST until February 2 at 10:00AM EST by NWS Tallahassee FL
* WHAT...For the Cold Weather Advisory, very cold wind chills as low
as 18 expected. For the Freeze Warning for a hard freeze,
sub-freezing temperatures as low as 23 expected.
* WHERE...Coastal Dixie, Coastal Franklin, Coastal Jefferson,
Coastal Taylor, and Coastal Wakulla Counties.
* WHEN...For the Cold Weather Advisory, until 10 AM EST Monday. For
the Freeze Warning, from midnight tonight to 9 AM EST Monday.
* IMPACTS...Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other
sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor
plumbing.
Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a
hat, and gloves.
Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.
