* WHAT...Dangerously cold wind chills between 5 and 15 degrees
possible.

* WHERE...Portions of southeast Alabama, Big Bend and Panhandle
Florida, and south central and southwest Georgia.

* WHEN...From Saturday afternoon through Sunday afternoon. The
coldest wind chills are expected overnight Saturday into Sunday
morning.

* IMPACTS...Frostbite and hypothermia could occur in as little as 30
minutes if unprotected skin is exposed to these temperatures. An
extended period of freezing temperatures could cause exposed water
pipes to rupture.

Wear protective clothing such as a hat, facemask, and heavy gloves
or mittens if you have plans to be outdoors.

To prevent freezing and possible bursting of outdoor water pipes
they should be wrapped, drained, or allowed to drip slowly.

Keep pets indoors as much as possible.

Make frequent checks on older family, friends, and neighbors. Ensure
portable heaters are used correctly. Do not use generators or grills
inside.

Monitor the latest forecasts and warnings for updates.
