Description
Thank you to all residents for your ongoing efforts during this stretch of heavy snow and extreme cold. Your hard work in clearing driveways, sidewalks, and walkways is greatly appreciated and plays an important role in keeping our community safe.
Snow Removal Reminder
As you continue to shovel or plow, we kindly ask that you avoid placing snow back into the roadway and do not push snow onto neighboring properties. These actions can create safety hazards, obstruct visibility, and make it more difficult for others to clear their own spaces. Your cooperation helps ensure our roads, sidewalks, and shared areas remain accessible for everyone.
Cold Weather Advisory
We are currently experiencing dangerously cold weather conditions, including:
~Wind chills of –5° to –15° expected Thursday morning.
~Temperatures 20°–30° below normal through at least Sunday.
~Prolonged cold can pose risks to vulnerable populations and increase the likelihood of frozen or ruptured pipes.
Cold Weather Safety Tips To stay safe and protect your home:
~Keep a slow drip running from faucets to help prevent frozen pipes.
~Open cabinet doors under sinks to allow warm air to circulate.
~Minimize time outdoors and dress in layers; cover exposed skin.
~Bring pets indoors and check on elderly or vulnerable neighbors.
~Use space heaters safely—keep them at least 3 feet from flammable materials and never leave them unattended.
~Keep dryer vents, furnace exhaust pipes, and outdoor meters free of snow and ice.
