Freeze Warning issued January 27 at 6:33PM EST until January 28 at 9:00AM EST by NWS Tallahassee FL

* WHAT...For the Freeze Warning, a hard freeze with temperatures of
20 to 25 expected, coldest across the Florida Big Bend. For the
Cold Weather Advisory, very cold temperatures of 20 to 25 expected.

* WHERE...Portions of the Big Bend and Panhandle of Florida.

* WHEN...For the Freeze Warning, until 9 AM EST /8 AM CST/
Wednesday. For the Cold Weather Advisory, from 1 AM EST /midnight
CST/ to 9 AM EST /8 AM CST/ Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Very cold temperatures can lead to hypothermia with
prolonged exposure. Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops,
other sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor
plumbing.

Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a
hat, and gloves.

Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.

To prevent freezing and possible bursting of outdoor water pipes
they should be wrapped, drained, or allowed to drip slowly. Those
that have in-ground sprinkler systems should drain them and cover
above-ground pipes to protect them from freezing.
