Extreme Cold Warning issued January 27 at 9:48AM EST until January 27 at 11:00AM EST by NWS Tallahassee FL
* WHAT...Dangerously cold wind chills as low as 20.
* WHERE...Portions of Big Bend Florida and south central Georgia.
* WHEN...Until 11 AM EST this morning.
* IMPACTS...Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin
is exposed to these temperatures.
Wear protective clothing such as a hat, facemask and heavy gloves or
mittens if you have plans to be outdoors.
Keep pets indoors as much as possible.
Make frequent checks on older family, friends, and neighbors. Ensure
portable heaters are used correctly. Do not use generators or grills
inside.
