Ongoing Snow Plowing and Salting Operations Update

Description
Public Works will continue plowing and salting operations over the next two days as cleanup from the storm continues. We appreciate everyone’s patience as crews follow established snow-removal protocols: priority roads and hills first, followed by secondary routes, with alleys addressed last.
The Borough has been operating multiple shifts continuously since Saturday and will continue overnight operations as needed. Some roads, including East 6th Street and West 7th Street, will be serviced overnight.
Please note that the Borough cannot plow private drives or alleys.

We would also like to thank residents and businesses who kept vehicles as close to the curb as possible or off the street. This makes a real difference in how effectively crews can plow.
As a reminder, when shoveling out your vehicle or mailbox, please do not shovel snow back into the roadway. Thank you for your continued cooperation and understanding.
