Extreme Cold Warning issued January 26 at 2:49AM CST until January 26 at 12:00PM CST by NWS San Angelo TX

* WHAT...Dangerously cold wind chills as low as 4 below.

* WHERE...All of west central Texas.

* WHEN...Until noon CST today.

* IMPACTS...Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin
is exposed to these temperatures. An extended period of freezing
temperatures could cause ruptured water pipes.

Wear protective clothing such as a hat, face mask, and heavy gloves
or mittens if you have plans to be outdoors. To prevent freezing and
possible bursting of outdoor water pipes they should be wrapped,
drained, or allowed to drip slowly. Those that have in-ground
sprinkler systems should drain them and cover above-ground pipes to
protect them from freezing.
