Description
From Mayor Freshcorn;
Attention Delaware Water Gap residents. The upcoming storm will be bringing very cold temperatures, high winds, and possible deep snow. Because of this, I declared a Snow Emergency for our Borough. The declaration begins on Saturday the 24th at noon until Tuesday the 27th at noon. The Snow emergency means no parking on the street so that our plow trucks can keep our roads, clean and clear. According to our ordinance, cars parked on the street will be ticketed and towed. Please do not park on the street until the declaration expires. If you need a place to park, you may use Schull Park located on Oak Street until the storm passes and the contractor is finished plowing. Please tell your friends and neighbors. Landlords, please inform your tenants. Thank you for your cooperation. Please be safe and stay warm.
