The Borough of Hummelstown is monitoring a significant winter weather event expected this weekend. Please use caution if you need to go out. Municipal and State plow trucks will be out to clear the roads, and please allow them room to work.
❄️ Roads
Borough Staff will be out this weekend to clear the roads. If you can, please move your vehicle off the roads. Residents can use the public parking lots during this event.
❄️ Sidewalks Snow & Ice Removal
Property owners are reminded that snow and ice must be removed from sidewalks within 12 hours after the cessation of any snowfall, sleet, or freezing rain. This will help ensure safe pedestrian travel throughout the Borough.
❄️ Trash & Recycling Collection - UPDATE PENDING
Republic Service has advised the Borough that next week's trash collection schedule is not yet finalized due to pending weather conditions.
•If Monday is missed, trash will be collected on Tuesday (1/27/26)
•If both Monday and Tuesday are missed, trash will be collected the following Monday (2/2/26) as a double pickup.
