Winter Storm Warning issued January 23 at 5:08AM CST until January 25 at 6:00PM CST by NWS San Angelo TX

* WHAT...Heavy mixed precipitation expected. Total snow and sleet
accumulations up to 3 inches and ice accumulations between two
tenths and one half of an inch. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.

* WHERE...All of west central Texas.

* WHEN...From 6 PM this evening to 6 PM CST Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
likely become slick and hazardous. Power outages and tree damage
are likely due to the ice. Travel could be nearly impossible.

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency. The latest road conditions for

Persons should consider delaying all travel. If travel is absolutely
necessary, drive with extreme caution. Consider taking a winter
storm kit along with you, including such items as tire chains,
booster cables, flashlight, shovel, blankets and extra clothing.
Also take water, a first aid kit, and anything else that would help
you survive in case you become stranded.
