Special Weather Statement issued January 6 at 10:01PM EST by NWS Binghamton NY
Surface temperatures are hovering in the low to mid 30s across the
area late this evening. Several colder locations are at or just
below the freezing mark. Periods of rain, freezing rain, freezing
drizzle and fog are expected over the next several hours. Untreated
surfaces may already be very icy and slippery.
Use caution if walking or driving late this evening. Be prepared
for possible ice on roadways, sidewalks, stairs, driveways or any
other untreated surfaces.
