Lake Effect Snow Warning issued January 2 at 10:24AM EST until January 2 at 4:00PM EST by NWS Cleveland OH
* WHAT...Heavy lake effect snow. Additional snow accumulations up to
3 inches.
* WHERE...Northern Erie and Southern Erie Counties.
* WHEN...Until 4 PM EST this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Bands of lake effect snow will continue to
impact the region through mid afternoon. Snowfall rates up to one
half inch per hour are possible at times.
If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and Pennsylvania
Turnpike Commission strongly encourage motorists to heed all travel
