Lake Effect Snow Warning issued January 1 at 7:05AM EST until January 1 at 7:00PM EST by NWS Cleveland OH
* WHAT...Heavy lake effect snow. Additional snow accumulations up to
two inches.
* WHERE...Crawford, Northern Erie, and Southern Erie Counties.
* WHEN...Until 7 PM EST this evening.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
conditions could impact the Thursday morning and evening commutes.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Additional accumulating lake effect snow is
expected tonight, especially south of I-90 and east of I-79 where
an additional 6 inches of snow will be possible.
If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and Pennsylvania
