Lake Effect Snow Warning issued December 31 at 9:28PM EST until January 1 at 7:00PM EST by NWS Cleveland OH
* WHAT...Lake effect snow, heavy at times. Additional snow
accumulations of 2 to 5 inches in the most persistent snow. Winds
gusting as high as 35 mph.
* WHERE...Crawford and Erie Counties.
* WHEN...Until 7 PM EST Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Travel will be difficult at times. Plan on slippery road
conditions and poor visibility. The hazardous conditions should
impact the Thursday morning and evening commutes.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Periodic blowing snow is expected, especially
this evening.
If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and Pennsylvania
