Lake Effect Snow Warning issued December 29 at 7:08PM EST until December 30 at 4:00PM EST by NWS Cleveland OH
* WHAT...Heavy lake effect snow. Total snow accumulations up to 10
inches. Winds gusting as high as 50 mph.
* WHERE...Crawford and Southern Erie Counties.
* WHEN...Until 4 PM EST Tuesday.
* IMPACTS...Whiteout conditions are expected and will make travel
treacherous and potentially life-threatening. The hazardous
conditions could impact the Tuesday morning commute. Gusty winds
could bring down tree branches.
If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and Pennsylvania
Turnpike Commission strongly encourage motorists to heed all travel
