Winter Storm Watch issued December 28 at 9:15AM EST until December 31 at 7:00AM EST by NWS Cleveland OH
* WHAT...Heavy lake effect snow possible. Total snow accumulations
between 6 and 12 inches possible. Winds could gust as high as 60
mph creating blowing and drifting snow and greatly reducing
visibilities.
* WHERE...Crawford and Southern Erie Counties.
* WHEN...From Monday afternoon through Wednesday morning.
* IMPACTS...Visibilities may drop below 1/4 mile due to falling and
blowing snow. Travel could be difficult. The hazardous conditions
could impact the Monday evening and Tuesday morning commutes.
Strong winds could cause tree damage.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The heaviest snow is expected late Monday
afternoon into Tuesday. Snowfall rates may exceed 1 inch per hour
at times.

Persons should consider delaying all travel. If travel is absolutely
necessary, drive with extreme caution. Consider taking a winter
storm kit along with you, including such items as tire chains,
booster cables, flashlight, shovel, blankets and extra clothing.
Also take water, a first aid kit, and anything else that would help
you survive in case you become stranded.
