The annual Light Up the Borough Holiday Decorating Contest will be held on Saturday, December 20th, at 7:00 p.m. All residences decorated for the holidays will be automatically entered to win! Come mingle with your neighbors on the 200 block of Elizabeth Ave. An impartial panel of judges will pick three houses in the borough to win one of three prizes. They are...CLASSIC (picture a home from a Hallmark Christmas movie), ANIMATED (blow-ups and mechanical decorations everywhere), and GRISWOLD (a display of lights so bright that Duquesne Light will name you “Customer of the Year”).
Come look for Santa and the Grinch riding through town on the fire truck!
