Great News for Greenwood Township!
We are excited to announce that Greenwood Township has been awarded $200,000 from the DCED LSA grant toward the Delano Road paving project! This funding is an important step forward and reflects continued investment in improving our local infrastructure.
While this award covers less than half of the total cost of the project, the Township remains committed to moving this improvement forward and is actively pursuing additional funding sources to fully complete the work.
A special thank you to Sarah Dennis, Township Secretary/Treasurer, for writing and submitting the grant application, and to Rich Murray, Roadmaster, for doing the legwork to obtain project quotes and supporting documentation needed for the application, and to Sen. Michelle Brooks for her support.
We appreciate the community’s continued support and patience as we work to secure the remaining funds needed to make this long-planned improvement a reality. More updates will be shared as they become available.
