Cold Weather Advisory issued December 13 at 12:44PM EST until December 15 at 10:00AM EST by NWS Tallahassee FL
* WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 17 expected.
* WHERE...Portions of Big Bend and Panhandle Florida.
* WHEN...From 1 AM EST /midnight CST/ to 10 AM EST /9 AM CST/ Monday.
* IMPACTS...Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate
clothing, a hat, and gloves.
Keep pets indoors as much as possible.
Make sure outdoor animals have a warm, dry shelter, food, and
unfrozen water.
Make frequent checks on older family, friends, and neighbors. Ensure
portable heaters are used correctly. Do not use generators or grills
inside.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Isolated locations may experience Wind Chills
below 15 degrees. Will monitor for any potential upgrade to
Extreme Cold Warning in future forecast packages.
