Special Weather Statement issued December 11 at 7:53PM EST by NWS Binghamton NY

HAZARDS...A band of heavy snow showers accompanied by winds of 20
MPH which can rapidly reduce visibility to less than one mile. Quick
snow accumulation up to an inch.

LOCATION AND MOVEMENT...At 752 PM EST, a band of heavy snow showers
was along a line extending from Elmhurst to Le Roy and moving
southeast at 20 MPH.

LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE...
Scranton, Wilkes-Barre, Falls, Muhlenberg, Dunmore, Kingston,
Nanticoke, Plains, Old Forge, and Bushkill.

SAFETY INFO...
Conditions can deteriorate rapidly in winter weather situations. Be
prepared for snow or ice covered roads. Slow down and allow extra
time to reach your destination.
