Winter Weather Advisory issued December 9 at 1:20PM EST until December 10 at 7:00PM EST by NWS Binghamton NY
* WHAT...Mixed precipitation expected. Total snow accumulations of 1
to 3 inches and ice accumulations around a light glaze. Localized
snow accumulations up to 5 inches possible across the highest
elevations above 1900 feet.
* WHERE...In New York, Broome County. In Pennsylvania, Bradford,
Lackawanna, Luzerne, Northern Wayne, Pike, Southern Wayne,
Susquehanna, and Wyoming Counties.
* WHEN...From 4 AM to 7 PM EST Wednesday.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
conditions could impact the Wednesday morning and evening commutes.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A period of steady snow arrives early
Wednesday morning and continues through the day. Brief periods of
rain or freezing rain could mix in a times Wednesday afternoon or
early evening, before changing back to all snow showers late
Wednesday evening.
