Freeze Watch issued November 10 at 12:00AM EST until November 11 at 8:00AM EST by NWS Tallahassee FL
* WHAT...For the Freeze Watch, sub-freezing temperatures are
expected. A hard freeze with temperatures in the low to mid 20s
are possible across portions of southeast Alabama and southwest
Georgia. For the Cold Weather Advisory, very cold wind chills as
low as 19 expected.
* WHERE...Portions of southeast Alabama, Big Bend and Panhandle
Florida, and south central and southwest Georgia.
* WHEN...For the Freeze Watch, from Monday evening through Tuesday
morning. For the Cold Weather Advisory, from 11 PM EST /10 PM CST/
Monday to 9 AM EST /8 AM CST/ Tuesday.
* IMPACTS...Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other
sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor
plumbing.
Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a
hat, and gloves.
Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.
