Red Flag Warning issued November 8 at 11:15PM CST until November 9 at 6:00PM CST by NWS Houston/Galveston TX

...Red Flag Warning Issued Across Southeast Texas For Sunday...
...Fire Weather Watch Continues for Monday...

The National Weather Service in Houston/Galveston has issued a
Red Flag Warning for wind and low relative humidity, which is in
effect from 9 AM to 6 PM CST Sunday.

* WINDS...North 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph on Sunday
afternoon. On Monday, north winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts to 25
mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 15 percent in the driest
locations. Even to the Gulf beaches, relative humidity values in
the 25 to 35 percent range are forecast.

* IMPACTS...any fires that develop will be capable of spreading
rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended. Obey all local burn
restrictions and burn bans.

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now...or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds...low relative humidity...and warm temperatures will
create explosive fire growth potential.

A Fire Weather Watch means that critical fire weather conditions
are forecast to occur. Listen for later forecasts and possible
Red Flag Warnings.
