Description
Our 1996 leaf vacuum is currently out for repairs after a major mechanical failure. We expect it back next week.
Because we’ve had heavy rain and more weather coming, please do not place leaves in the street. Leaves wash into storm drains and can cause flooding. This is also prohibited under Township ordinance.
For now, please bag leaves in clear bags.
Public Works is collecting bagged leaves every morning and will continue until the vacuum is back in service.
We have also applied for grant funding to purchase a new leaf machine, with decisions expected after the November 18th hearing.
