Special Marine Warning issued October 19 at 2:41PM EDT until October 19 at 3:45PM EDT by NWS Tallahassee FL
For the following areas...
Coastal waters from Suwannee River to Keaton Beach out 20 NM...
Waters from Suwannee River to Apalachicola FL from 20 to 60 NM...
At 240 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 49 nm northeast of Buckeye Reef to 18 nm southwest of
Suwannee River, moving east at 35 knots.
HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect wind gusts in excess of 34 knots...suddenly higher
waves...frequent lightning...and heavy downpours. Make sure
all on board are wearing life jackets.
Locations impacted include...
Horseshoe Beach.
Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.
