Good afternoon,
This email is an update for the mosquito program from September 3rd to September 26, 2025. The month of September has been unusually warm there is still mosquito activity so please remember
· Stay indoors during peak mosquito hours
o Dusk to Dawn (Keep in mind that it is getting darker earlier)
· Wear long sleeves, pants, and closed-toed shoes if possible
o Exposed skin may be at risk for biting mosquitoes
· Wear bug spray
o Specifically bug spray containing at least 30% DEET or another EPA approved active ingredient
· Remove all the standing water from your property
o Birdbaths, wheelbarrows, and children’s toys can hold water and breed mosquitoes.
