Description
As part of Tarentum Borough’s electric utility planning and maintenance program, we replace a number of utility poles each year to maintain a safe and reliable system.
This year’s pole replacement projects will begin Monday, September 22, 2025, and are expected to continue for approximately two weeks, weather permitting.

-532 E. 8th Avenue
-616 E. 8th Avenue
-632 E. 9th Avenue
-612 E. 9th Avenue
-1012 Coe Street
-913 Porter Street (added following the September 16th fire incident)
Please use caution when traveling near work areas. Temporary traffic disruptions and brief service outages may occur as crews complete the replacements and transfers.
