Southeastern Westmoreland County in southwestern Pennsylvania...
* Until 230 PM EDT.
* At 153 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near
McChesneytown-Loyalhanna, or near Latrobe, moving east at 30 mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to
mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.
* Locations impacted include...
Latrobe, McChesneytown-Loyalhanna, Derry, Lawson Heights,
Ligonier, Calumet-Norvelt, New Alexandria, Youngstown, Laurel
Mountain, Loyalhanna Gorge and Laurel Mountain State Park.
Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure
and stay away from windows. This storm is capable of producing
widespread damaging winds.
