Special Marine Warning issued July 24 at 9:25PM EDT until July 24 at 11:00PM EDT by NWS Tallahassee FL

SMWTAE

The National Weather Service in Tallahassee has issued a

* Special Marine Warning for...
Coastal waters from Suwannee River to Keaton Beach out 20 NM...
Waters from Suwannee River to Apalachicola FL from 20 to 60 NM...

* Until 1100 PM EDT.

* At 925 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 8 nm north of Cedar Key to 19 nm south of Suwannee
River to 36 nm southwest of Yankeetown, moving west at 25 knots.

HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect wind gusts in excess of 34 knots...suddenly higher
waves...frequent lightning...and heavy downpours. Make
sure all on board are wearing life jackets.

* Locations impacted include...
Horseshoe Beach and Suwannee River.

Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.
