Flood Watch issued July 15 at 1:31PM EDT until July 16 at 6:00AM EDT by NWS Tallahassee FL
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.
* WHERE...A portion of Big Bend Florida, including the following
areas, Coastal Dixie and Inland Dixie.
* WHEN...Through late tonight.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Rainfall of 2 to 4 inches with spotty amounts to 7 inches are
likely across Dixie County late this afternoon and this
evening. This rain could come in multiple rounds as a
tropical low passes westward across north-central Florida and
exits across the Nature Coast. After heavy rain on Monday,
this much rain would cause flooding issues.
