Special Weather Statement issued July 13 at 12:38PM EDT by NWS Tallahassee FL
At 1238 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles north of Horseshoe Point, or 8 miles south of Steinhatchee,
moving south at 5 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Horseshoe Point, Horseshoe Beach, and Shired Island.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
