Carbon County in northeastern Pennsylvania...
Central Monroe County in northeastern Pennsylvania...
* Until 445 PM EDT.
* At 355 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Stoddartsville to near White Haven to near
Conyngham to Mainville, moving east at 25 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is
possible.
* Locations impacted include...
Lehighton, East Stroudsburg, Palmerton, Jim Thorpe, Nesquehoning,
Wind Gap, Weatherly, Stormville, Pocono Pines, Lake Harmony,
Tannersville, Long Pond, Kresgeville, Sun Valley, Reeders,
Beltzville State Park, Saylorsburg, McMichael, Blakeslee, and Penn
Forest Reservoir.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
In addition to hail and damaging winds, frequent cloud to ground
lightning is occurring with these storms. Move indoors immediately.
