The National Weather Service in State College PA has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
Lancaster County in south central Pennsylvania...
Southeastern York County in south central Pennsylvania...

* Until 1215 AM EDT.

* At 1054 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Dover to East York to Glen Rock, moving east at 45
mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
Lancaster, York, Ephrata, Weigelstown, Elizabethtown, Columbia,
Lititz, Millersville, Willow Street, Mount Joy, Red Lion, and New
Holland.

This includes the following Interstates...
The Pennsylvania Turnpike from mile markers 270 to 295.
Interstate 83 from mile markers 2 to 28.

With the trees heavy from the rain and soft, wet ground, it will
likely be easier for trees to be knocked down.

Stay inside a well built structure and keep away from windows.

Very heavy rainfall is occurring with these severe thunderstorms, and
may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
