Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued June 27 at 5:17PM EDT until June 27 at 5:45PM EDT by NWS Pittsburgh PA
At 517 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Kennedy
Township, or 5 miles east of Moon Township, moving east at 15 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Pittsburgh, Mount Lebanon, Ross Township, McCandless Township,
Moon Township, Franklin Park, Shaler Township, West Mifflin, North
Side Pittsburgh, Baldwin, Hampton Township, Scott Township,
Whitehall, Robinson Township, Munhall, Brentwood, Dormont, O'hara
Township, Bellevue and Castle Shannon.
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead
to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
